My wish
If I only had one wish in the world it would have to be 30 million dollars. I was this because I want to give most of my money to charity. I think it would better idea to my money away than spend it on myself. Other places would need it more than I do, also I don’t want be greedy and spend all myself.
If I ever got 30 million dollars, I would give 20 million dollars to the troops that fighting for us today. All those people put their lives in danger to protect our freedom. Wouldn’t you worry every night that you might get shot even get shot in mission. I’ve known people that went there and came back and said “you have no idea what’s happen, it unthinking able what happen there.” I think we are so lucky to live a safe country where there is no fighting. I think they deserve money, I am so proud of what they do I think you be too. For the rest of the 30 million dollars I would also proudly give it to the Children’s Hospital. There are many kids that would be proud that someone finally found a cure for their sickness someone gave money to help figure it out. They must wish to have a great life like or with no cancer and have a long happy life. Maybe someday I would be able to give money to this to someday.
If I got this money ever I think I don’t deserve any at all, I think other people deserve it more than I do. If you had only one wish what would you wish for?

The instructions
By Ray Bradbury
When you are teaching your children good habits, you need to follow these simple instructions. Do you realize that that your kids think that they don’t need to run their own lives, but run their lives with machines? To think about it a little more the kids has power over you these are the things you should try:
- When they trying to get what they want keep saying no because they when you say no you say no and that’s the answer.
- A give them trouble when they are not listens
- Trick you children and tell them you guys are going to the store ,but you really going on a trip somewhere else
- Well they are in the car waiting, turn off the house and ask someone to get all your machines out
- When you kids are crying and trying to make you get all the stuff back, send them to their rooms for a time out if they keep asking.
- Please try to live a normal life please I’m only asking you for the best
- Teach you kids that you are the parents and you make the rules

The Monkeys Paw with a Twist
It has been 3 years since my father died from accidental poising that made him suffer. Now I’m 17 and nothing really has gone good since then. Even though we are homeless, we always have help from Armon the Medicine Man if we ever need anything. My name is Ravi. This is my story of what happens if you wish poorly.
It was a hot night in India, when Biji and I were on the ground watching the stars as we went to sleep. The stars are so beautiful I thought what interesting tales that they could tell. It was too hot to sleep with a blanket, so I left my feet showing. Every night I could feel bugs run down my back, which felt like someone was tickling me with a branch. The smell of a bong fire nearby made my eyes water. I looked at my Biji; she had long brown hair with dark brown eyes.
“Biji, are you a sleep?” I said as I looked back at the stars.
“No I haven’t my son. What you need?” she lay on her side and went to started going to sleep.
“Can I go see Armon and his monkey?” Getting up and grabbing my cloth bag.
“No It’s too late……” she Yawned.
“Fine then.” disappointed I laid down back on the hard ground. Instead of looking at the stars I looked at the jungle that had many creatures that I didn’t know of.
“Have you ever wanted to wish for 3 wishes?” Getting up again and sitting on a rock.
“Yes I have, I always wish we could have money and we wouldn’t have to be homeless.” she murmured.
Now it was so quiet you could hear little whispering from the huts a half a mile away. Reaching for a stick, I started drawing into the dirt. I really started getting bored; I threw the stick into the jungle. It felt like 20 minutes until my Biji started snoring, she twist and turned as she slept on the ground. I started walking to the medicine man’s hut, when I started hearing light crying. Turning to the left hand side there was the orange color of a candle light shining through a window? He must be still awake or even mica his monkey got hurt. I hope he’s ok, but let’s see and find out. I thought going to the opened window that had dried up grass in front of. Looking through the window Armon was wrapping his monkey in a blanket, mica his monkey didn’t even move at all. Is he dead? I though again, tearing up a little. Armon saw me; his face was full of tears not able to say any words. He put his monkey in a wooden box, carefully closing the top with a thump. Then I realized that Mica the monkey was dead.
“What happened to Mica, did he get sick…?” unable to finish what I was trying to say. Armon spoke in sad a voice.
“Mica never woke up; I guess he just died of old age. I’ll miss my old friend he was the greatest.”
Walking over to the door then standing waiting for a simple nod from Armon. He nodded I proceed to come in; I sat down in front of the coffin that laid Mica. The coffin was in between me and Armon, looking at Armon he was touching that top of the coffin.
“I’m sorry you lost your pet monkey, everyone in the village enjoyed to have him around.” I said grabbing a flower that I found in the jungle earlier in the day.
It was pink with little white specks on the flower; it was still the same as when I picked it up. His
Seldom eyes kept looking at the coffin his monkey was in he kept rubbing the top as if he lost his mother or one of his family members. In a way he lost a friend, in which he had for over 1 5 years.
“I wish he would come back from the dead.” I said covering my eyes, and then I kept thinking that I had too lost a friend. I’ve had been friends with mica since I was 2, mica always came to see me when his master was sleeping. Mica and I would play in the jungle, until I almost got killed by a snake. Mica saved my life that day, by distracting the snake with a rock he threw at the snake head.
“Be careful of what you wish for!” Armon said in a chilling voice that would chill me forever.
“Do you know a way to make 3 wishes?” I whispered, I knew that he could because I’ve watch him do scary stuff when he wasn’t looking.
Armon went up to his feet in a nice stance; he looked at me with daunting eyes. He gave me a chill down my back; I got Goosebumps on my arms and legs.
“You know don’t you! You’ve been watching me through my window when I wasn’t looking have you! Now what HAVE YOU Seen?!” He said close to my face, his voice was strong mad as ever! He grabbed my arm pulled me to a table, where it had candles and a strange looking bottle. Bottle had wax pattern that had red goo leaking down from it.
“What is that….?” Before I could finish he commanded me.
“Drink out of that bottle, and you learn you learn your lesson. You will learn you lesson with 3 wished that you’ll never forget.”
I did what he asked me, slowly reaching my hand to the wax cover bottle. Twisting that cap off I took a big sip, it tasted like long-standing eggs with dill weed besides the horrible metallic taste I’ll never forget. My stomach ached like someone hit me with a baseball bat, then slowly when my stomach didn’t ache I got sick.
“Armon, what was that it was terrible. I’m sorry I’ve learned my lesson.” I yelled rubbing my stomach.
“Now you have learned your lesson, here comes the second thing I must do to give what you want.” He walked over to a big leather book that must of weigh 1000 pounds and opened it to half way in the book. He grabbed tons of jars then mixed and stirred the ingredients into a bowl. Armon walked over to the coffin opened it up; he looked at Mica for a while. I turned which I knew what was going to happen next, he was going to cut of his dead monkeys paw off. With a single plop noise was the paw in the bowl a single drop of a light blue liquid. The wind grew stronger outside, the candles blew out. Is Armon crazy, what is doing I’d never seen him do this kind of magic before. I thought to myself at I stand there. A yellow colored light came back, I saw Armon light a candle. He grabbed the paw out of the bowl, he handed the paw to me with regret.
“Now wish wisely, because it might be the death of me, you or even worse your Biji.” He warned me but I didn’t listen, but now I wish I did I say these haunted words that change my life forever!
“I wish Mica came back from the dead!” I gripped the monkeys paw; it twitched out of my hand. I turned my head to the window which my Biji stand there scared. Unable to move I tried to grabbed the paw before it disappeared. Mica slowly got up from the coffin and attacked me. Mica scratched me on the face close to my eye. I pushed him away he attacked Armon; he struggled to push him away but no use. Armon’s half dead- half alive pet bit him, Armon fell and didn’t move again. I ran as fast as I can to Armon that lay on the floor lifeless, he was no dead too. Mica went back in the coffin and went back to dead. My Biji ran in to save Armon, but it was too late she couldn’t do nothing to save him.
“I’ve killed Armon, I should pay for it!” I screamed
“Ravi it wasn’t your fault, it was the monkeys fault.” She calmed me down. Then she spoke again “Make another wish just for me.”
“You sound so greedy Biji; my friend just got killed by his monkey. Do you even care that I just killed Armon by bringing back his monkey back to life and killed him!” I yelled at my mother.
“Ravi you should feel bad of what you just said! I’m sorry if I made you mad.” She tried to calm me down but no use I already started to make my wish.
“I wish my mother wasn’t so greedy!” I screamed once more I realized what I said.
“Ravi help!” she said as she was getting swallowed by the ground.
“Biji I’m sorry what I said! No!” she was gone by the ground swallowing her whole. I sat there crying my eyes out I’d just lost two people I cared about.
“Why did they die?” I screamed so loud that a man heard me.
“What’s going on young man?” He asked me.
“I want you to have this.” I said swiftly.
“I wish to die!” I screamed don more and it was all done. I gave him the paw and I slowly got swallowed by the ground never to see the light again.
